I don't know why the pictures didn't show up on the last one so here they are.

I DID IT!!!

So the half marathon is over! I did it! 13.1 miles and I ran the whole thing! The spectators, my family, and especially Jane were the best, I couldn't have done it without them (her)! I felt strong and great through the whole race and I am so grateful that Jane pushed me to do this and that I really did do it. I saw a friend from NY who flew in to race, and some friends from the ward came to cheer us on. What a blessing to have so many wonderful and supportive people in my life! That especially goes to my love, Jake. He encouraged me to go running every night and took care of the kids like a champ while I was gone. He even got them all up, dressed, fed and to the race so they could watch me run by. What an amazing partner; I love you! All in all, it was a wonderful opportunity and a greater challenge that I can now say I have overcome.

The day has arrived!

So it's 4:30 AM on a Saturday morning and I am blogging! But the real reason is that I get to run the Rock N' Roll Half Marathon today!!! I have been training with my friend Jane even though it sold out before I could get registered. But thanks to Craig's List and a woman who hurt her knee, I am now able to run the race. This has been such a crazy 9 week journey for me. Before this I have never really been a runner. And now I love it and I can't wait to get out there. There is a huge sense of accomplishment on my part because I could barely run a mile when we started training. I have had so much fun, and I've really grown, and honestly...I am proud of myself! Wish us, (me,) luck and I'll see you at the finish line!!!

Daddy's are funny; expecially ours!

So Jake got the kids ready for bed the other day, and this is what Lydia had on. It's Jake, need I say more?!

Our first Graduation

So on Friday the 12th was the last Preschool Parent Program for the year, which also means that Lydia has now had her first Graduation! The songs were great, the kids were better and the graduation hats were adorable. I can't believe our little girl is getting so old!

Every little boy loves his mom!

So the other day I was getting ready for the day and walked out of the bathroom for a minute to check on Toby and I came back to this. Every little boy loves his mom; but I'm sure he'll grow out of it.

Memorial Weekend

We had the chance to go to Bremerton over the Memorial Weekend and we found a very lovely surprise. The Underwater Naval Museum in Keyport WA. The admission way free and because of that we thought it would be on the disappointing side. But we were totally blown away. In fact, everyone should plan a time to go and see it! The kids learned so much, and so did Jake and I. We had a blast, and afterwards went and spend money in the gift shop so that we would feel like we made our contribution. Here are some of the pictures at the museum and the rest of the trip. Oh, and the funniest thing we saw on our trip was "Central Park" in Keyport....just view the pictures below!!!
